I would like to personally welcome you to the Art of the Networked Practice Online Symposium.<\/a> The event begins this Thursday March 29th, with a keynote by Maria\u00a0Chatzichristodoulou<\/a> discussing “LIVE ART AND TELEMATICS: THE PROMISE OF INTERNATIONALISM,” followed by the debut of a new Internet performance work “ONLINE-ENSEMBLE \u2013 ENTANGLEMENT TRAINING,” directed by Annie Abrahams<\/a> in collaboration with\u00a0Antye Greie<\/a>, Helen Varley Jamieson<\/a>, Soyung Lee<\/a>, H\u01b0\u01a1ng Ng\u00f4<\/a>, Daniel Pinheiro<\/a>, and Igor Stromajer<\/a>. On Friday March 30th, Matt Adams<\/a> will deliver his keynote “THE HERE, THE NOW, THE AUDIENCE AND THE SPECTATOR” discussing participatory media performance created by his collective Blast Theory<\/a>. And on Saturday March 31st the Symposium moves to Chicago, the birthplace of dirty new media, for the debut of\u00a0IGAIES (INTIMATE GLITCHES ACROSS INTERNET ERRORS), organized by Jon Cates<\/a> in collaboration with\u00a0Roberto Sifuentes<\/a>, Arc\u00e1ngel Constantini<\/a>, Shawn\u00e9 Michaelain Holloway<\/a>, \u611b\u771f Janet Lin<\/a>,\u00a0Paula Pinho Martins Nacif<\/a>\u00a0and Anam Han Sifuentes<\/a>.
